I qualified as a Yoga teacher in 2000 with the Irish Yoga Association and also completed the IYA Post-Graduate Course.
I have taught mixed ability yoga classes and now I concentrate on teaching Yoga for pregnancy.These classes focus on yogic breathing practices which are suitable during pregnancy and can be used during the birthing process. The gentle postures taught in these classes help to tone the body during pregnancy and also help prepare the body for the birth itself. The class finishes with relaxation, giving the mother-to-be some quiet time for herself.
